2BI  OUR ENVIRONMENT.

Think saving the world is meant for superheroes? Not true! Everyone has a part to play in lowering our impact and sustaining our Mother Earth. Here’s how you can…
5 Ways to Play Your Part in Saving Our Planet:
  1. Reduce your electricity usage Unplug your cell phone chargers, TV and other electronic devices from the wall when you’re not using them, because they use energy when plugged in as well!
  2. Turn off taps when not in use That means while you’re brushing your teeth, or soaping yourself in the shower. You’ll be saving the extra few seconds of wastage if you have it on, which can amount to a lot in the long run.
  3. Avoid using plastic bags when shopping Bring along a light bag so that you can load your items into it to transport them back.
  4. Reuse when you can There are tons of ways to reuse stuff! Use both sides of the paper, use plastic bags to line bins, re-use bottles as pencil stands or watering containers. Let your imagination run wild! :)
  5. Walk, bike, carpool or use public transport Driving to work every day can be costly. If you know a colleague that stays around your area, perhaps you could discuss carpooling and splitting gas money. Walking or biking to work will add up to more daily exercise as well.
Good luck, and save the world!
