Kilkenny Impression

Kilkenny Impression

After being in Ireland I could only tell three big differences from Spain:  The weather, the food and the irish people´s behavior.
The weather is too variable and the atmosphere is wet, the sun can be shinning and in just a few minutes is hailing, not too comfortable to live with but I guess you can get used to it. The food for me was disgusting most of the time, at lunch they only ate a little sandwich and some chocolate bars and the dinner is often served with potatoes or butter, I had the feeling that it doesn´t matter how much I ate that I would never stop being hungry, it is like the food was made just to stay alive and not to enjoy.
Finally, about people, I can say that they are interesting, they are polite, friendly and punctual all the time, but I felt that all the kindness and the consideration were mechanical behavior, often cold and sometimes weary, but they are a good people if you know them well, after all.
So, ignoring all that I have said before, it was nice to know and learn from another culture and see all the beautiful places that Ireland has,
so I would probably try to repeat the experience.
